Cmd Cue

Command every screen. One cue.

Cmd Cue runs fullscreen playback across every room in your venue — ads, trailers, features, in a fixed order, every time — controlled from a single Mac or iPad.

In development, testing live at the Mesa International Film Festival this August. No spam, just the launch note.

Stutter-free, by design

The full playlist loads and preloads before the first frame plays, so cuts between clips don't stutter or drop a frame — the exact failure we designed around after seeing it in other playout tools.

Fixed, dependable order

No rules engine, no rotation logic to misconfigure. Set the order once — ads, trailers, feature — and it plays exactly that way, every single time.

Control every room from one place

The Controller is a responsive web dashboard that works from any Mac browser or an iPad — no separate app to install. Play, pause, skip, or stop any room individually, or all of them at once.

No DCP required

Standard ProRes, H.264, and H.265 files play natively. No cinema-package decoding, no extra licensing, no format conversion step.

Self-healing playback

A missing or corrupt file gets skipped, not frozen — the room keeps playing on schedule and logs exactly what happened.

Built-in proof of play

A timestamped activity log of exactly what played, when, on every room, every day — ready to hand a sponsor as proof of play.

Built to scale

The same architecture that runs 5 rooms in one venue is built to run a hundred screens across many — the room stays the unit, however many you add.

One-time purchase

No per-screen, per-month subscription eating into the budget every month. Buy it once, run it as long as you need it.

How it works

1. Configure each roomEach room's Mac gets its own fixed playlist — its own ads, its own film. Set it once per room.
2. Open the ControllerFrom any Mac browser or an iPad — no install required. Every room's status, live.
3. Cue itPlay, pause, skip, or stop any room, or every room at once, with one tap.
